The 6th TC304 Forum on Georisk Assessment and Management: Bayesian Methods in Geotechnical Risk Assessment was successfully held on December 17, 2025. The forum was organized by Iason Papaioannou (Technical University of Munich) and featured six presentations from leading experts around the world.
Topics covered included Bayesian inversion of shear wave velocity profiles, uncertainty quantification in offshore site characterization, Bayesian updating of subsurface spatial variability, Bayesian analysis in probabilistic digital twins, and Bayesian workflows for geotechnical data analysis.
